02What we collect
- Order and delivery data: name, email, phone (optional), shipping address (delivery address), city, postal/ZIP code and country, used for order fulfilment.
- Account and membership data: email and membership status if you join Ayla Circle.
- Payment data: we do not receive or store your full card number. Card details are entered on Stripe's secure checkout. We receive confirmation of payment, the last four digits, card brand and billing country from Stripe.
- Support and enquiry data: the content of contact or wholesale forms, including subject and message.
- Usage data: basic device, browser and page-interaction data collected through essential and, with consent, analytics cookies.
Collection sources: directly from you (forms and checkout), automatically from your device (cookies), and from our payment processor (payment confirmation).
03Why we use it and legal bases
- To fulfil your order — process payment, ship goods, handle returns and provide receipts. Legal basis: performance of a contract.
- To provide support — answer enquiries and manage membership. Legal basis: contract and legitimate interests.
- To run and secure the site — prevent fraud and abuse. Legal basis: legitimate interests.
- Analytics and non-essential cookies — improve the store. Legal basis: your consent.
- Legal and accounting obligations — retain transaction records. Legal basis: legal obligation.
05International transfers
Some processors operate outside the UK/EEA. Where data is transferred internationally, we rely on adequacy decisions or Standard Contractual Clauses (and the UK International Data Transfer Addendum) to protect it.
06How long we keep it
- Order and transaction records: retained as required for tax and accounting (typically up to 6–7 years).
- Support and marketing lead data: no longer than 24 months from last contact, then deleted or anonymised.
- Uploaded images (e.g. review photos): cached for up to 30 days, then cleared unless you ask us to keep them.
- Cookie data: for the lifetime set out in the Cookie Policy.
07Your rights (UK GDPR, EU GDPR, CCPA)
Depending on where you live you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time.
California residents (CCPA/CPRA) have the right to know what we collect, to delete, to correct, and to opt out of "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. We do not sell personal information.

08Do Not Sell or Share
We do not sell or share your personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising as defined by the CCPA/CPRA. No opt-out is required, but you may still contact us with any preference at support@ayleneser.shop.
10Automated decisions and children
The Saver Finder gives algorithmic product suggestions. These are general guidance only and have no legal or similarly significant effect — you always choose what to buy.
Our store is not directed to children. It is not for use by anyone under 13, and 13–17 year-olds should only use it with a parent or guardian's consent.
11Security
We use encryption in transit, access controls and reputable processors. No method of transmission is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your data and to notify you and regulators of a breach where required.
12Order fulfilment, shipping and billing data
To deliver physical goods we collect and process your shipping address (delivery address) and use it for order fulfilment. We share your name and shipping address with the delivery carrier that fulfils and ships your order, and we retain order-fulfilment records so we can track dispatch, delivery and any delivery issue.
Order fulfilment, returns and exchange support is carried out by our support team using your order, shipping address and contact details. Billing and card data is processed by Stripe; we hold only the payment confirmation and limited billing metadata needed for accounting, refunds and dispute handling. Returns and exchanges are managed under our Refund & Returns policy.
